The fischer VBS-M façade renovation anchor is a mechanical system for the subsequent, officially approved attachment of cavity walls, with or without an air gap. The system consists of a plastic sleeve with a double expansion zone and a screw made of electro-galvanized steel. The VBS-M is installed in the load-bearing shell and the façade masonry using time-saving push-through installation. The two expansion zones of the anchor ensure a secure fastening in both the load-bearing shell and the outer shell. Only when the anchor engages in the load-bearing shell is it fixed in the façade masonry. The fischer VBS-M façade renovation anchor is primarily suitable for the quick renovation of cavity walls to which an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) is subsequently applied.
