The fischer VBS-M remedial wall tie is a mechanical system for the subsequent, officially approved fastening of masonry veneers with and without an air gap. The system consists of a plastic sleeve with a double expansion zone and a stainless steel screw. The VBS-M is installed in a time-saving through-setting installation in the load-bearing shell and in the masonry veneer. The two expansion zones of the anchor ensure secure fastening in the load-bearing shell and in the outer shell. Only when the anchor engages in the load-bearing shell is it fixed in the masonry veneer. The fischer VBS-M remedial wall tie is particularly suitable for the fast remedial repair of cavity walls to which an external thermal insulation composite system is subsequently applied.
