The system disconnector BA 6610 In-line is a compact backflow prevention device according to DIN EN 1717, group B, with controlled separation (three-chamber system). It corresponds to the installation type BA defined therein and can therefore be used for protection up to and including fluid category 4. Its task is to prevent the back-siphonage or backflow of non-potable water into the public drinking water network. The system disconnector BA covers a variety of applications (e.g., printing companies, chemical and food processing plants, laboratory and medical technology). The system disconnector BA 6610 contains all components specified in DIN EN 1717 and is designed as a 3-chamber system with controllable inlet, intermediate, and outlet pressure zones. Additionally, it is equipped with an integrated dirt filter. Each pressure zone is fitted with ball valves, enabling the monitoring of the safety devices through pressure measurement. The system disconnector consists of 2 series-connected non-return valves (NRV) equipped with a vented intermediate zone. If no water is drawn, the inlet and outlet NRVs, as well as the drain valve, are closed. In case of back-siphonage, the inlet pressure drops. The drain valve opens at the latest when the differential pressure between the inlet and intermediate pressure chambers has dropped to 0.14 bar. Technical data: Operating pressure: max. 10 bar Operating temperature: max. 65 °C Installation position: horizontal, funnel connection downwards Medium: Potable water Flow rate: 13.0 m³/h at ?p 1.5 bar. Connection size: DN 32
