SIMPLEX soft-face hammer with cast steel housing, Ø 50:40, TPE-soft / Superplastic

This SIMPLEX soft-face hammer features special D50mm striking inserts mounted in a D40mm housing. The oversized striking faces provide maximum protection for careful handling of workpieces with delicate surfaces. This model has the TPE-soft / superplastic insert combination. The blue TPE-soft insert (series 3201) is the softest insert in the SIMPLEX series, highly damping and thus suitable for delicate work. Unlike conventional rubber hammers, it leaves no unwanted black marks. The superplastic insert (series 3207) allows for higher impact force than the rubber insert. It is a medium-hard plastic insert made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable. The extra-light aluminum housing with integrated handle protection sleeve allows the user to easily control and determine the impact force. This enables the processing of fragile materials. It also makes the soft-face hammer a very light tool that is easy to carry. The high-quality, vibration-damping, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double-lacquered in the grip area and thus dirt-resistant. According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and retrofittable. This not only saves money but also resources.
