SIMPLEX soft-face hammer with aluminum housing, Ø 50:40, TPE-soft / Superplastic

This SIMPLEX soft-face mallet features special D50mm inserts mounted in a D40mm housing. The oversized striking faces provide maximum protection for careful work on delicate surfaces. This model has the insert combination TPE-soft / Superplastic. The blue TPE-soft insert (series 3201) is the softest insert in the SIMPLEX series, highly shock-absorbing and thus suitable for delicate work. Compared to a conventional rubber mallet, it leaves no unwanted black marks. The Superplastic insert (series 3207) allows for greater striking force than the rubber insert. It is a medium-hard plastic insert made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-moulded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable. The extra-light aluminum housing with integrated handle protection sleeve allows the user to easily control and determine the striking force, enabling work on fragile materials. It also makes the soft-face mallet a very lightweight tool that is easy to carry. The high-quality, vibration-dampening, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double-lacquered in the grip area, making it resistant to dirt. According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and retrofittable. This not only saves money but also resources.
