This SIMPLEX soft-face mallet features special D50mm inserts integrated into a D40mm housing. The oversized striking faces provide maximum protection for careful work on delicate surfaces. This model has the TPE-soft / superplastic insert combination. The blue TPE-soft insert (series 3201) is the softest insert in the SIMPLEX series, highly shock-absorbing and therefore suitable for sensitive work. Compared to conventional rubber mallets, it leaves no unwanted black marks. The superplastic insert (series 3207) allows for higher impact force than the TPE-soft insert. It is a medium-hard plastic insert made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-moulded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable. The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, which ensures high break resistance. The high-quality, vibration-damping, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double varnished in the grip area, making it dirt-resistant. According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and retrofittable. This not only saves money but also resources.
