The head of SUPERCRAFT hammers is filled with steel shot. This causes the shot filling to follow with a delay when the striking face hits the workpiece. The reduced rebound ensures optimal use of impact energy. This allows for very powerful blows. In addition, working with SUPERCRAFT hammers is significantly safer, easier on the joints, and quieter than with ordinary steel hammers. The interchangeable inserts offer outstanding impact properties and guarantee maximum strength with the highest durability. They are made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injected plastic inserts, they are therefore much more wear-resistant and durable and do not splinter even at sub-zero temperatures. The 3-component handle contains a break-proof, flexible fiberglass core, encased in ergonomically shaped polypropylene and an elastomer layer that allows a secure grip even with oily and greasy hands. The durable powder coating of the head protects against corrosion. All welds are completely robot-welded. An extremely dense and high-quality weld connection between the striking plate and the hammer head prevents the shot filling from escaping even under maximum load.
