Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, they are therefore much more wear-resistant and durable and do not splinter even at sub-zero temperatures. The head tube of the SUPERCRAFT hammers is filled with steel shot. This causes the shot filling to follow with a delay when the striking face impacts the workpiece. The reduced rebound ensures optimal utilization of the impact energy. This allows for very powerful blows. In addition, working with SUPERCRAFT hammers is significantly safer, easier on the joints, and quieter than with ordinary steel hammers. The ergonomically shaped, lacquered, and very stable hickory handle has vibration-damping properties. The handle protection sleeve prevents mis-hits.
