Compared to injection-moulded plastic inserts, they are significantly more wear-resistant and durable and do not splinter even at sub-zero temperatures. The head tube of SUPERCRAFT hammers is filled with steel shot. This means that when the striking face impacts the workpiece, the shot filling follows with a delay. The reduced rebound ensures that the impact energy is optimally utilized. This allows for very powerful blows. In addition, working with SUPERCRAFT hammers is significantly safer, easier on the joints, and quieter than with ordinary steel hammers. The ergonomically shaped, varnished, and very stable hickory handle dampens vibrations. The handle protection sleeve prevents mis-hits. A secure handle-head connection is ensured by an aluminium wedge and locking pin. All welds are completely robot-welded. An extremely dense and high-quality welded joint between the impact plate and the hammer head prevents the shot filling from escaping even under maximum load.
