The SIMPLEX soft-face hammer, series 3089, features a nylon/soft-metal insert combination. The white nylon insert (series 3208) offers outstanding impact properties, guaranteeing maximum strength and exceptional durability. It is made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-moulded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable, and does not splinter even at sub-zero temperatures. It is also oil and grease resistant. The silver-coloured soft-metal insert (series 3209) is made of aluminium and is hard, heat-resistant, and replaces a traditional lead hammer. The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, which ensures high break resistance. The high-quality, vibration-dampening, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double-lacquered in the grip area, making it dirt-resistant. According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and retrofittable. This not only saves money but also resources. This version is available in sizes from D30mm to D80mm and as a sledgehammer (3089.081).
