The SIMPLEX soft-face hammer series 3089 features a nylon / soft metal insert combination. The white nylon insert (series 3208) offers excellent impact properties and guarantees maximum strength with highest durability. It is made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injected plastic inserts, it is thus much more wear-resistant and durable and does not splinter even at sub-zero temperatures. It is also oil- and grease-resistant. The silver soft metal insert (series 3209) is made of aluminium and is hard, heat-resistant and replaces a classic lead hammer. The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, which ensures high break resistance. The high-quality, vibration-damping, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double-lacquered in the grip area and therefore dirt-resistant. According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and retrofittable. This not only saves money, but also resources. This version is available from size D30mm to D80mm and as a sledgehammer (3089.081).
