To meet the specific requirements for processing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience from industrial environments confirms that it offers very good corrosion resistance with optimal service life. All PFERD brushes with INOX trim are marked in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. Wire quality 1.4310 tends to exhibit ferromagnetic behavior when cold-worked, meaning it is attracted by magnets. This is caused by a structural change brought about by deformation, e.g., during wire drawing. This has no effect on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C. Aggressive brush.
