Resideo Automatic Backwash Control for Filters
The RR11S automatic backwash control is connected to the drinking water filter via a direct mounting flange. It performs regular cleaning of the filter insert by briefly diverting water through the filter mesh and discharging it via the drain funnel by opening a ball valve.
The actuator performs the backwash cycle based on 10 preset time programs, with flushing intervals from 2 hours to 6 months. Alternatively, backwashing can be controlled remotely via a potential-free contact. Status and error messages can be transferred to a building management system via a 0-10 volt output signal.
Power is supplied via the included power adapter. The automatic backwash control is equipped with an emergency override function. In the event of a power failure during backwashing, a supercapacitor ensures the power supply and closes the ball valve.
