According to DIN EN 806-2 in conjunction with DIN 1988-200, a pressure reducer protects the potable water installation from excessively high supply pressure. Furthermore, the pressure reducer can be used for commercial and industrial purposes, taking its specifications into account.
By using a pressure reducer, pressure damage to components of the potable water installation is avoided. The pressure reduction lowers water consumption and the associated energy costs. The set pressure is kept constant even with highly fluctuating inlet pressure by the pressure-balanced valve insert. By reducing and keeping the operating pressure constant, disturbing flow noises within the installation are minimized.
Features:
• Lead-free: Lead content of all media-contacting materials less than 0.1%
• Inlet pressure compensation - fluctuating inlet pressure has no influence on the outlet pressure and thus on the use of the potable water installation
• Sound insulation tested up to 1 1/4
