Reflex Variomat control unit, hydraulics, and control module for pressure maintenance, degassing, and refilling in closed heating and cooling circuits. Built according to DIN EN 12828 and the requirements of VDI 4708 with CE marking. Suitable for use in noise-sensitive areas. Functional unit consisting of a hydraulic section and a Control Touch control and operating unit. Both are ergonomically and maintenance-friendly integrated into a modular floor-standing frame system made of EV 1 anodized aluminum precision profiles with a CE mark. Hydraulic section: Pressure is maintained by means of a stainless steel centrifugal pump in conjunction with a robust dirt-resistant motorized ball valve with an upstream dirt filter as an overflow device. A safety valve serves to protect the connectable Variomat main vessel VG or subsequent vessel VF from overpressure. System pressure is measured by an electronic sensor. Pressure-side system connections are designed as secured shut-off ball valves. All fittings are located on a rotatable base plate for more variable arrangement of the hydraulics. The Control Touch operating unit with TFT color display including communication electronics is integrated into a robust plastic housing designed as a panel and mounted horizontally directly on the control unit. An optional separate and vertical wall mounting up to a maximum distance of three meters from the power electronics is possible. Communication electronics consisting of: -4.3' resistive color touch display for programming, operation documentation and monitoring, as well as providing help texts for all functions -two RS485 interfaces as data or communication interfaces -serial TTL interface with two terminals for connecting 2 IO boards -potential-free output for forwarding the collective fault message -two galvanically isolated analog outputs, e.g., for system pressure -input for evaluating contact water meters -slot for a compact bus module, an SD card, e.g., for data readout, software updates, etc. -230V output for connecting level-dependent refill/degassing stations. The power electronics are mounted in their own plastic control cabinet directly below the operating unit. Power is supplied via a main switch. In detail consisting of: -Main switch on the outside of the housing -Pump control -Cable management for external connections -Mounting space for optional modules. Control unit completely piped and wired ready for connection according to VDE regulations. System connections via integrated shut-off valves. Control Touch is a fully automatic and freely parameterizable microprocessor control with touch operation, real-time clock, differentiating fault and parameter memory, combined graphical and plain text display of system pressure, vessel fill level and all relevant operating and fault messages, functional diagram, signaling of the active operating mode, collective fault message, minimum fill level as well as the function of the pump, overflow ball valve and refill valve. Pressure maintenance within limits of +/- 0.2 bar including pump monitoring. Optimized system water degassing by patented fully automatic overflow control with cycles for continuous, interval and run-on degassing. Controlled refilling, automatic interruption and fault message if the operating time and/or the number of cycles is exceeded. Processing of the signal from a contact water meter for maximum quantity limitation and/or for capacity evaluation of ion exchangers located in the refill line. Documentation and control of the entire system regarding the above parameters.
