The standard pressing jaw of the Contour TH with a nominal size of 18 mm is ideal for system-compliant pressing of fittings for plastic pipe systems. An extended service life of the pressing jaw and precise pressing is achieved through the special, partial laser hardening process called DURA LAZR TEC. This results in minimized wear within the pressing contour and a doubling of pressing cycles compared to the previous model. The quality of the pressing jaw over its entire service life is perfected by optimized corrosion protection. With the integration of a 3-bolt synchronized mechanism, opening the pressing jaw in daily use becomes effortless (one-finger operation). ROTHENBERGER pressing jaws are suitable for all pressing machines with a thrust force of 32-34kN due to the use of heavy-duty special steel. DURA LAZR TEC process - Partial laser hardening enables the highest degree of hardness in heavily stressed areas. This leads to minimal wear and high contour accuracy. In combination with the forged, heavy-duty and flexible special steel, the new generation of pressing jaws achieves 100% longer durability compared to its predecessor.
