Missel Fire Protection Collar BSM®-KR
For pipe penetrations through walls and ceilings.
R90 fire protection pipe penetration seal for pipes and sockets of combustible wastewater pipes made of PE, PP, PVC, ABS, PB, and mineral-reinforced plastic (e.g. Conel Drain, Geberit db20, Geberit Silent PP, Ostendorf, POLO-KAL NG, POLO-KAL XS, Rehau Raupiano Plus, Rehau Raupiano Light, Skolan dB, Wavin AS, Wavin SiTech etc.);
Installation length 110 mm, 4 mm thick insulation material for acoustic decoupling, intumescent material for complete sealing of the pipe penetration in case of fire, fire resistance class R90 according to DIN 4102-11, for installation in solid ceilings, solid walls, and lightweight partition walls.
The execution must be carried out according to ABZ-19.17-2010 of DIBt or VKF No. 23830. The proper execution must be certified by the contractor upon completion of the work with a conformity declaration. Each pipe penetration seal must be permanently marked with the sign included in the scope of delivery. The sign must be attached next to the pipe penetration seal on the component.
When offering equivalent, alternative products, the following essential product features must be observed and documented in writing to the client by manufacturer's certificates:
- robust tear-resistant surface to prevent damage during the construction phase, this serves to avoid structure-borne sound bridges
- reduced material thickness for space-saving installation, thus ensuring a clean, visible fire and smoke gas-tight filling of the component due to the larger intermediate distances from collar to collar.
- simple and quick processing due to tool-free quick-release fastener to reduce processing times.
