Insulation for heating and plumbing pipes in floor structures against earth-contacting, outdoor-air-contacting, and unheated components, as well as between heated rooms of one and different users; insulation according to GEG (EnEV);
Closed-cell polyethylene foam, fiber padding made of firmly needled fibers, additionally reinforced by a tear-resistant mesh fabric film. Mesh fabric knotted at the intersections. No change in the quality of impact sound protection of floor structures when using the Missel Compact Insulation Sleeve® including the KDH-FX fastening. Suitable for all pipe materials.
When offering equivalent, alternative products, the following essential product features must be observed and documented in writing to the client with manufacturer's proofs:
Lambda value 0.035 W/(m*K) at 40 °C to reduce structural heights through thinner insulation layers,
Robust, tear-resistant surface to prevent damage during the construction phase, which serves to avoid structure-borne sound bridges
Proof that the insulation, including the fastening system, does not require an additional impact sound layer
CE marking according to EN 14313 for the entire European market
