Missel Compact Insulation Sleeve® KDH 50% Insulation
Insulation for heating and sanitary pipes in floor constructions against earth-contacting, outdoor-air-contacting, and unheated building components, as well as between heated rooms of one and different users; insulation according to GEG (EnEV);
closed-cell polyethylene foam, fiber-cushion layer of firmly needled fibers, additionally reinforced by a tear-resistant grid fabric film. Grid fabric knotted at the intersections. No change in the quality of impact sound insulation of floor constructions when using the Missel Compact Insulation Sleeve® including the KDH-FX fastening. Suitable for all pipe materials.
When offering equivalent, alternative products, the following essential product features must be observed and documented to the client in writing with manufacturer's proofs:
Lambda value 0.035 W/(m*K) at 40 °C to reduce construction heights through smaller insulation layer thicknesses,
Robust, tear-resistant surface to prevent damage during the construction phase, this serves to avoid structure-borne sound bridges
Proof that the insulation including the fastening system does not require an additional impact sound layer
CE marking according to EN 14313 for the entire European market
