Missel Fire Protection Collar MSA® 4-BSM® Connector
Fire protection collar with acoustic decoupling for connectors of cast iron wastewater pipes da < 160 mm (DN 150), application according to the simplifications of the MLAR; open, seam-reinforced collar with integrated quick-release fastener, non-combustible mineral special fleece resistant up to 1,100°C according to DIN 4102 Part 1 and Part 17, reinforced on the outside by a tear-resistant grid fabric film, grid fabric knotted at the intersection points. The execution must comply with the simplifications of the MLAR, ABP No. P-20170776 MPA Dresden. Proper execution must be certified by the contractor with a declaration of conformity upon completion of the work.
When offering equivalent, alternative products, the following essential product features must be observed and documented to the client in writing by manufacturer's certificates:
- robust, tear-resistant surface to prevent damage during the construction phase, this serves to avoid sound bridges
- reduced material thickness of 4 mm for space-saving installation, thus ensuring a clean, visible fire and smoke-tight backfill of the component due to the larger intermediate distances from collar to collar.
- simple and quick processing due to tool-free quick-release fastener and suitable molded parts for bends and branches, etc. to reduce processing times.
