Missel Fire Protection Insulation Collar MSA® 4-BSM®
Fire protection insulation collar with sound decoupling for cast iron wastewater pipes da < 160 mm (DN 150), application according to MLAR simplifications; open, seam-reinforced collar with integrated quick-release fastener, mineral non-combustible special fleece resistant up to 1,100°C according to DIN 4102 Part 1 and Part 17, externally reinforced by a tear-resistant grid fabric film, grid fabric knotted at the intersection points. Inner side equipped with a sliding film.
The installation must be carried out according to the MLAR simplifications, ABP No. P-20170776 MPA Dresden. The contractor must certify the proper installation after completion of the work with a declaration of conformity.
When offering equivalent, alternative products, the following essential product features must be observed and documented to the client in writing with manufacturer's proofs:
- robust, tear-resistant surface to prevent damage during the construction phase, this serves to avoid sound bridges
- reduced material thickness of 4 mm for space-saving installation, thus ensuring a clean, visible fire and smoke-tight backfilling of the component through the resulting larger intermediate distances from collar to collar.
- easy and fast processing due to tool-free quick-release fastener and suitable molded parts for bends and branches etc. to reduce processing times.
