Missel Fire Protection Insulation Collar BSM®-S
Fire protection insulation collar with sound decoupling for steel and copper pipelines up to da = 160 mm (DN 150) and plastic pipelines up to da = 32 mm (DN 25), application according to the simplifications of the MLAR;
open, seam-reinforced collar with integrated quick-release fastener, mineral non-combustible and up to 1,100°C resistant special fleece according to DIN 4102 Part 1 and Part 17, externally reinforced by a tear-resistant grid fabric film, grid fabric knotted at the intersection points. Inside equipped with a sliding film.
The execution must comply with the simplifications of the MLAR, ABP No. P-20170776 MPA Dresden. The proper execution must be certified by the contractor upon completion of the work with a declaration of conformity.
When offering equivalent, alternative products, the following essential product features must be observed and documented to the client in writing with manufacturer's proofs:
- robust, tear-resistant surface to prevent damage during the construction phase, this serves to avoid sound bridges
- lower material thickness of 4 mm for space-saving installation to ensure clean, visible fire and smoke-tight filling of the component through the resulting larger intermediate distances from collar to collar.
- easy and fast processing due to tool-free quick-release fastener to reduce processing times.
