The TiAlN wear-resistant coating increases the surface hardness of the tool to approx. 3,000 HV / microhardness and the hot hardness to up to 900°C. It is characterized by high toughness as well as high thermal and chemical stability and serves to achieve longer tool life and higher cutting values. Suitable for dry machining due to the TiAlN coating.
