Annular cutters made of high-performance high-speed steel with titanium aluminum nitride coating. The TiAlN wear-resistant coating increases the surface hardness of the tool to approx. 3,000 HV / microhardness and the hot hardness to up to 900°C. It is characterized by high toughness as well as high thermal and chemical stability and serves to achieve longer tool life and higher cutting values. Suitable for dry machining due to the TiAlN coating. Particularly suitable for machining unalloyed and alloyed steels (up to 1200 N/mm²), high-chromium alloyed steels such as V2A and V4A, as well as cast steel and tough brass.
