Specially developed chip space parameters, such as the rake angle, transition radius, and the extra-wide chip flute, ensure optimal chip and heat evacuation, thus enabling very high wear resistance. In addition, the new geometry counteracts material welding and enormously reduces countersinking forces. During countersinking, significantly less feed force is now required. Materials can be machined with either very high or low cutting speeds without losing quality in the countersinking result.
