The completely redeveloped cutting edge geometry of RUKO’s ULTIMATECUT enormously reduces the axial and radial forces acting on the tool during the countersinking process. The specially developed, variably ground relief ensures a very smooth countersinking process. This creates an exact, round, and chatter-free countersunk surface, guaranteeing the best results. Specially developed chip space parameters, such as the rake angle, transition radius, and extra-wide chip flutes, ensure optimal chip and heat evacuation, thus enabling very high wear resistance. In addition, the new geometry counteracts material welding and enormously reduces countersinking forces. During the countersinking process, significantly less feed force is now required. Materials can be machined with either very high or low cutting speeds without losing quality in the countersinking result.
