Inlet Filter The Grundfos inlet filter is a recommended accessory to protect the pump from sand, gravel, or other deposits when pumping rain or well water. The square mesh ensures a consistent flow over the entire surface of the filter cartridge, thus minimizing the risk of clogging. The smooth filter surface makes it easy to clean and rinse the filter. The filter cartridges provide a nominal filtration efficiency of 80%. With proper use, the filter cartridges can be reused multiple times without compromising filtration performance. The filter interior consists of talc-filled polypropylene and a welded nylon mesh.
