SBA 3-45 A The Grundfos SBA 3-45 A is a complete submersible pump system for pumping and pressure boosting clean water. It is particularly suitable for rainwater applications and small wells in private households, and its submerged operation makes it a low-noise alternative to dry-installed pumps. The SBA features an integrated control unit, eliminating the need for external control. The pump components are made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant composite material and stainless steel. The SBA 3-45 A is equipped with a 15 m long power cable. The maximum immersion depth below the water level is 10 m. The permissible fluid temperature ranges from 0 Celsius to 40 Celsius. The pump starts automatically as soon as the pressure in the line drops below 2.2 bar. The SBA 3-45 A is ideal for use in wells and underground storage tanks because solid particles are prevented from entering the pump. The single-phase version is protected against overload by an integrated thermal protector. The pump switches off automatically if it overheats. After cooling down to normal temperature, the pump restarts automatically.
