ALPHA2 GO 32-40 180 The ALPHA2 GO is a highly efficient circulator pump with an electronically commutated motor. It is designed for circulating liquids in heating and air conditioning systems. The Grundfos GO app offers numerous digital functions that simplify commissioning for both new and replacement installations. With the Grundfos GO app, you can easily verify the best selection when replacing integrated and external circulators; in addition, the exact pump curves can be easily adopted. The ALPHA2 GO features intelligent control modes: constant pressure, proportional pressure, constant flow rate, and constant curve. Each control mode has adjustable setpoints. The AUTOADAPT setting, available for constant and proportional pressure, eliminates the need for manual selection of the pump setpoint. The PWM input allows precise external control of the speed, which further optimizes the overall system. The installation connector significantly simplifies installation without additional tools. Automatic self-venting and dry-running protection ensure quiet and reliable pump operation. The product is characterized by a robust start mode, which prevents the risk of blockages due to impurities, magnetite, or limescale deposits. In the undesired event of the pump being blocked, the motor continuously attempts to start with the highest possible torque, thus ensuring starting even under difficult conditions. The ceramic shaft and ceramic bearings are subject to minimal wear. This increases the service life and reduces the likelihood of noise that can occur due to wear caused by increased bearing play. If the system's air detection and venting function detects air in the system, the circulator pump begins to pulsate to more effectively push the air to the nearest vent valve. The Grundfos GO app also offers the convenient option of checking the system based on the event log and historical data for flow rate, head, estimated media temperature, and operating time.
