SCALA2 3-45 Grundfos SCALA2 is a compact, self-priming (max. 8 m) domestic water booster system with a whisper-quiet, water-cooled permanent magnet motor and comfortable constant pressure control. The comfort control ensures a constant pressure at the tap, regardless of fluctuating inlet pressure or consumption. With the "Auto Setpoint" function, the SCALA2 automatically selects the maximum possible constant pressure value for the respective installation type. Thanks to the latest efficient motor technology, the SCALA2 only requires half the electrical power consumption (max. 550 W) of a typical domestic water booster system with the same hydraulic performance. The water-cooled, fan-less motor allows the SCALA2 to operate at a whisper-quiet 44 dB(A). Thanks to its high protection class IPX4D (protected against splashing water), the SCALA2 domestic water booster system can also be used for direct frost-free outdoor installation. To simplify the connection of the pressure and suction lines, the SCALA2 is equipped with 5-degree swivel connectors. The filling nozzle and drain plug can also be opened and closed without tools. With a volume of only 23 liters, the SCALA2 requires approx. 75% less installation space than traditional domestic water booster systems with a diaphragm pressure tank.
