Shut-off device type WFK-M-LüAR
according to the Model Ventilation System Guideline M-LüAR, Issue 2 of 30.04.2021, Section 7.1 ff, based on the WFK fire damper, EN 15650:2010. Made of galvanized sheet steel with a metallic quick-release fastener, corrosion-free and lead-free release mechanism - VDS approved and intumescent material. Free cross-section with minimal pressure loss and round design. For use in ventilation systems of buildings in any air direction with and without heat recovery.

Flammable and non-flammable air ducts can be connected, also unilaterally with a cover grille. Hingeless, corrosion-free metallic locking mechanism by releasing two stainless steel double torsion springs. Inspection during commissioning after installation, before closing the shaft, e.g., by camera inspection.

Maintenance:
Maintenance is to be carried out every 5 years, e.g., by internal camera inspection. If dirty, the duct must be cleaned.
Functional testing via floor-by-floor inspection openings is unnecessary. The ventilation duct should have a sufficient number of inspection openings for camera inspection and cleaning.
