Corundum A · With abrasive flaps on a backing pad · For universal use from coarse to fine grinding · Shank Ø 6 mm · Also suitable for processing brass, copper and zinc · Shank-Ø: 6mm · Drive type: Flexible shaft drive · Straight grinder · Application recommendation: Reducing contact pressure and peripheral speed, as well as adding grinding oil, reduce tool wear and the thermal load on the workpiece. For best performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15–20 m/s. This achieves an ideal compromise between material removal rate, surface finish, thermal load on the workpiece, and tool wear. Increasing the cutting speed results in a slightly finer surface. Increasing the contact pressure makes the surface slightly coarser. The softer the material to be processed, the coarser the surface (when used) · An increase in material removal rate should be achieved by using a coarser grit and not by increasing contact pressure, to prevent unnecessary tool wear and thermal load on the workpiece. Use grinding oil suitable for the material to significantly increase tool life and grinding performance. · Workable materials: Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (54 HRC) · Processing tasks: Weld seam processing, deburring, progressive fine grinding, leveling, surface processing, structuring (matting, brush finishing, and satin finishing) · Width: 30mm · Note: PFERDERGONOMICS recommends flap wheels to sustainably reduce vibration and noise generated during use and to improve working comfort. · Length · Shank: 40mm · RPM · opt.: 4800RPM · Safety instructions: The specified maximum permissible speed must never be exceeded for safety reasons. The contact pressure must be significantly reduced if the specified optimal speed is exceeded. Safety is only guaranteed if the clamping length is at least 15 mm and the specified maximum speed for open shaft lengths is not exceeded. · Advantages: Consistently high material removal rate over the entire tool life, as new, aggressive abrasive is continuously released. Optimal contour adaptation due to high flexibility. Frontal use very close to edges and in corners possible due to flat cast core construction.
