Increasing the cutting speed results in a slightly finer surface. Increasing the contact pressure makes the surface slightly coarser. The softer the material to be processed, the coarser the surface (when using). An increase in removal rate should be achieved by using a coarser grit and not by increasing the contact pressure, in order to prevent unnecessary tool wear and thermal load on the workpiece.
