Corundum A · With abrasive flaps on a backing pad · For universal use from coarse to fine grinding · Shank Ø 6 mm · Also suitable for processing brass, copper, and zinc · Shank Ø: 6mm · Drive type: Flexible shaft drive · Straight grinder · Recommended application: Reducing contact pressure and peripheral speed, as well as adding grinding oil, reduce tool wear and the thermal load on the workpiece. An increase in material removal should be achieved by using a coarser grit and not by increasing contact pressure, in order to prevent unnecessary tool wear and thermal load on the workpiece. Increasing the cutting speed results in a slightly finer surface. Increasing the contact pressure makes the surface slightly coarser. The softer the material to be processed, the coarser the surface (when used) · For best performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15–20 m/s. This achieves an ideal compromise between material removal, surface quality, thermal load on the workpiece, and tool wear. Use grinding oil suitable for the material to significantly increase the service life and grinding performance of the tools. · Workable materials: Hardened, tempered steels over 1,200 N/mm² (54 HRC), malleable cast iron, aluminum, steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC), brass · Processing tasks: Leveling, surface finishing, deburring, structuring (matting, linear matting, and satin finishing), weld seam processing · Gradual fine grinding · Width: 20mm · Note: PFERDERGONOMICS recommends flap wheels to sustainably reduce vibration and noise generated during use and improve working comfort. · Length · Shank: 40mm · RPM · opt.: 9600RPM · Safety instructions: For safety reasons, the specified maximum permissible speed must never be exceeded. Contact pressure must be significantly reduced if the specified optimal speed is exceeded. Safety is only guaranteed · if the clamping length is at least 15 mm and the specified maximum speed for open shank lengths is not exceeded. · Advantages: End face application very close to edges and in corners possible due to flat casting core construction. Consistently high material removal throughout the entire service life, as new, aggressive abrasive is continuously released. Optimal contour adaptation due to high flexibility.
