Whether drawn or forged, BESSEY has them all in its product range. C-clamps are used when high clamping forces are required for approximately the same clamping widths, primarily in metal and steel construction. The C-clamp is considered the original form of screw clamps. A wide variety of materials have been and are used for their production. For example, there were once models made of pure wood. Today, models with forged frames and VC-clamps in proven BESSEY all-steel quality are available on the market. The special feature of the VC-clamp is that its frame is manufactured from original BESSEY profile steel from the in-house draw works, heat-treated, and electro-galvanized. In this way, a much higher tensile strength is achieved compared to cast versions. Care instructions: Generally remove dirt. Clean and oil the spindle regularly. Clean and oil the pressure plate regularly. Hazard warnings: Clamping tools are not suitable for lifting, pulling or transporting. Clamping tools may only be tightened by hand without additional aids. Incorrect use can cause personal injury or property damage. Never modify or process clamping tools; use them only in their original condition. If necessary, use only original spare parts. Clamping force up to 22,000 N, drop-forged.
