Duplex water softening system based on the ion exchange principle. Soft water is available during a regeneration process. Regeneration is triggered volumetrically (water quantity-dependent). This prevents any remaining soft water from being discarded during regeneration. The operating mode is consumption-dependent. The columns with ion exchange material are adaptively flowed through in parallel. The adaptively parallel operating mode enables maximum soft water availability and minimization of stagnation in the columns. During regeneration, one column takes over the softening of the entire water. The regeneration time is therefore at night - a period with typically low water demand. If the capacity falls below 50% before the query time, a proportional regeneration starts immediately. A BWT mineral dosing device can be connected at any time using a plug connector. Using BWT DES (Digital Eco System), BWT perla offers extensive connectivity - WLAN/LAN (LAN via RJ45 socket) - ENOCEAN (optional) - GSM connection to the BWT server for full functionality & database update - APP: BWT@home - Connection to the BWT Hydromaps database for automatic determination of water hardness at the installation site - BMS connector: in case of error or voltage drop, the contact is open (max. contact rating 24 VDC, 0.5A) The AQA Safe valve closes the waste water valve in case of voltage drop. AQA stop monitors the soil moisture and blocks the water supply in the flow direction after the system. A warning message is issued. AQA stop monitors the water volume limit according to a defined volume.
