Special features: The control unit
allows you to select 5 ventilation levels
PP45-15/20/30/36/42m3/h and PPB 30 -
5/12/18/22/26 m3/h and 3 operating modes:
continuous ventilation (with heat recovery),
cross-ventilation (without heat recovery)
and sensor-controlled automatic operation.
Continuous ventilation mode with heat
recovery: PushPull operation. The devices
run alternately and change direction every
60 seconds. Cross-ventilation mode: One
device is permanently in supply air mode
and the corresponding device in extract
air mode (e.g. for summer night cooling).
In automatic mode, the air volume is
steplessly adjusted to the sensor value
(HYI,HY,CO2,VOC). The RLS 45 K room air
control can be expanded with the internal
humidity sensor or with external sensors
(humidity, CO2, VOC). The air volume is
adjusted accordingly and the devices achieve
energy efficiency class A+. Operation of an
odd number of devices is possible. The
volume flows are automatically divided
according to the number of devices. By
pressing a button, time-limited intensive
ventilation (boost ventilation) or time-limited
shutdown (sleep function) can also be selected.
Using the RLS 45 K room air control, communication
between extract air devices (e.g. ECA/ER)
and PushPull devices is possible. This means
that when an extract air fan starts up, the
PushPull devices switch to supply air mode to
compensate for the resulting negative pressure.
Supply air operation is possible with a run-on
time of 0.6 or 15 minutes. The number of
connected devices is also taken into account.
The control unit has a separate 230V input
whose function can be defined by the software.
The following functions are available: Safety
shutdown, sleep function, boost ventilation,
supply air function for the extract air with 0s,
6min or 15min run-on time. ModBus connection
is possible. In addition, the RLS 45 K room air
control offers the possibility to conveniently
configure the devices with a PC/laptop
(Windows) via commissioning software. In
combination with the EnOcean expansion module
PP 45 EO, the RLS 45 K room air control offers
the unique possibility of connecting the wired
PP 45 K and PP 45 O and the wireless devices
PP 45 FV. With this control combination, for
example, wired devices can be installed on the
ground floor and wireless devices on the first
floor. The entire system is controlled with a
single button press. The control unit can be
expanded with further control units or power
modules PP45LT. The room air control is
required as an accessory for the final assembly
sets PP 45 K, PP 45 O or PPB30K, PPB30O.
For the PP 45 FV device series, the wired RLS45 K
control can optionally be used instead of the
wireless switch DS 45 FV. The combination of
RLS 45 K with the EnOcean expansion module
PP 45 EO is then necessary. Up to 6 fans can
be controlled simultaneously via an RLS 45 K
room air control, e.g. 6x PP 45 devices or 4 x
PP 45 devices + 1 x PPB 30 or up to 3 x PPB 30
